ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD)- An Arlington family is rescued from a burning home overnight.
Firefighters were called to the home on Farmingdale Drive near Kennedale just after 11:00 last night.
"The first arriving unit arrived to find a two story residential home with fire consuming the garage and extending to the corner of the structure," says Jasiel Zapata, Arlington Fire Department spokesman.
Firefighters found a woman, a girl, 10; and a boy, 6, trapped in a closet on the second floor.
Firefighters were able to pull them out; they're currently hospitalized in stable condition.
"The fire was ultimately extinguished with the resources of a three-alarm fire response and no fire department casualties reported," says Zapata.
The cause is under investigation.
