Five people are wounded after a shooting at a shopping center in Carrollton, police say. The area was evacuated.
The shooting was reported near the intersection of Hebron Parkway and State Highway 121. Police evacuated nearby businesses and urged the public to avoid the area. The suspected shooter was arrested after 12 p.m. Tuesday.
More than a dozen police units responded to the scene. The conditions of the victims and the severity of their injuries were not immediately available.
Authorities had not released a description of the suspect as of 12 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
