Fletcher’s Corny Dogs has been a Texas staple for years, but usually, Texans have to wait until their annual trip to the state fair to get them. However, the company that has been serving corn dogs in North Texas for 80 years has decided to change things up in recent years with pop-up shops, food trucks and delivery options. Now, they are taking things a step further announcing a permanent location coming to DFW.
Some big changes are happening at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, and one of those is the addition of a permanent Fletcher’s food truck, located on the East Lawn. While the launch date has not been announced at this time, the food truck will be at the park this Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to celebrate its new permanent location. “You go to a park in NYC and you can have a hot dog. Fletcher’s Corny Dogs is the equivalent of the New York hot dog,” said Kit Sawers, president of Klyde Warren Park.

According to Dallas Morning News, the food truck will sell six varieties of corny dogs from $5 to $8. They will also have curly fries and lemonade. After 80 years, DFW will finally be able to get a corny dog whenever they want.
