Even with no State Fair of Texas this year, Fletcher's claims they still sold nearly a half-million of their Corny Dogs, most of them through Golden Chick restaurants.
The bulk of Fletcher's annual sales generally come from the State Fair although this year they also experimented with selling from food trucks at pop-up events.
The Fletcher's-Golden Chick promotion ended Sunday and the restaurant chain reported selling 475,000 Corny Dogs.
During an average State Fair, Fletcher's would expect to sell anywhere from 500,000 to 550,000
