CARROLLTON (1080 KRLD) - Police in Carrollton are looking for information on a wild scene on 35E late Thursday afternoon.

It started with a crash on the express lanes of 35E just before 5:00 p.m.
The people involved got out of their vehicles to assess the damage, and the scene deteriorated from there.
"It quickly escalated first to a verbal argument, and then it turned physical very quickly," says Jolene DeVito, a spokeswoman with the Carrollton Police Department. "We ended up with three victims -- two of them stabbed, and then a third victim who was strangled to unconsciousness briefly but not killed."
None of the injuries are life-threatening.
The alleged attacker is identified as Dillon Stoffregen, 26, of Flower Mound.
"He was injured when he was restrained and tried to get under control by the victims and some other passersby at the scene, who stopped to try to get the situation under control," says DeVito.
After Stoffregen was treated at Parkland Hospital, he was transferred to Dallas County Jail.
"Our suspect is facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the injuries to the people after the crash," DeVito says.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have taken video at the scene.
