They went undefeated, but a Flower Mound youth football team won't be allowed to play in the post season.

The Flower Mound Rebels joined a recreational league as part of the Keller Youth Association.

President Rhett Taylor says the understanding was that the rebels would field three teams, to spread their talent around. But instead they only brought one.

Taylor warned the team, if they were too good, they would not be eligible for the playoffs.

Nicole White, who's son plays on the team, says the reason they won was not because they created an unfair advantage, but because they had great work ethic and good coaches.

Taylor says he did try and set up a playoff with a team in Haslet for a one game championship, but the Flower Mound Rebels declined.
