A former college football player who killed a Fort Worth man is going to prison.
Broderick Ross has been sentenced to 25 years for the 2017 murder of Chris-Dion Russell who was shot in the chest during a robbery.
While Ross got 25 years, one of his co-defendants was sentenced to life.
At the time, both men played football at McMurry University in Abilene.
