A former Richardson mayor and her husband are now facing federal prison time.
Mark and Laura Jordan have been found guilty on charges of bribery and tax evasion but were acquitted of wire fraud. The federal jury in Sherman took just a few hours to return the verdicts.
Mrs. Jordan was Laura Maczka when she was mayor of Richardson and married Mark Jordan in 2017 - a few years after voting for his Palisades development despite promises to oppose new apartments during her campaign for office.
