More alleged victims have come forward in a child sexual abuse investigation involving a longtime Plano ISD elementary school teacher, leading to three additional charges, according to Plano police.

Prosecutors say Paul Campbell, 64, who taught at Brinker Elementary School for 28 years, now faces three additional warrants for indecency with a child after three girls and their parents reported similar allegations following his July 8 arrest.

He was previously arrested on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child and remains in the Collin County Jail.

Police said the new allegations involve sexual contact during the 2023-24 school year. The investigation began July 4 after a former student reported Campbell had abused her and allegedly told investigators he also inappropriately touched other girls in his classroom.

Plano ISD said it is aware of the new warrants and continues to cooperate with the investigation. It was not immediately clear whether Campbell has an attorney representing him.

Investigators are continuing to determine whether there are additional victims. Anyone with information can call the Plano Police Department’s Special Victims Unit tip line at 972-941-2044.
