Two incumbent Fort Worth city councilmembers are headed to runoffs following the elections over the weekend, while a third barely got over the 50% plus-one threshold.
In District 6, Jungus Jordan will square off against Jared Williams; while in District 8, Kelly Allen Gray will face Chris Nettles - the same opponent she edged out two years ago.
In the District 4 race, Cary Moon emerged as the top vote-getter, finishing with just 101 votes above the threshold to win outright.
Two other races are headed to runoffs. Zeb Pent will face Leonard Firestone in District 7, while Elizabeth Beck will go up against Fernando Peralta, who advanced to the runoff by only 97 votes over third place finisher Jared Sloane.
Carlos Flores and Gyna Bivens were both re-elected, while Michael Crain beat seven opponents with more than 70% of the vote to win the District Three race.
