The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation names a Fort Worth ISD school with Best Communities for Music Education.
This would be the 11th year in a row that the Fort Worth School District has won this award. The award demonstrates how Fort Worth ISD can provide music access and education to all students.
The non-profit organization, NAMM Foundation, aims to promote music education and raise awareness of music's importance. Multiple studies show how music helps students have better listening skills, social skills, and cognitive speech development.
NAMM Foundation has recognized districts nationwide for outstanding commitments to music education.
