Fort Worth school trustees have started interviewing applicants to become the district's next Superintendent.
A search firm has presented a half-dozen names to the school board which began interviews Thursday with more scheduled Friday and Saturday.
District Seven Trustee Michael Ryan says the first step will be to narrow the field down to three and then to choose the lone finalist from that list.
The district is looking to replace Superintendent Kent Scribner who is scheduled to step down at the end of this month.
