The Fort Worth school board has a new trustee.
Tuesday night, Camille Rodriguez was sworn in to replace former District One trustee Jacinto Ramos who announced his resignation in March.
Rodriguez returns to the board after serving one term beginning in 2004.
She is a life-long Fort Worth resident and graduated from Dunbar High School, went to Prairie View A&M and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She has practiced podiatry in Fort Worth for the past 20 years.
In other business, the school board set a June 18th run-off for District Four where Brian Dixon and Wallace Bridges will face off as the top two vote-getters in the May 7th election.
The District Four seat was left vacant by last year's death of trustee Daphne Brookins.
