A Fort Worth man has been identified as the victim killed in a Monday crash near Eagle Mountain Lake.
It was a single-vehicle crash on Morris Dido Newark Road near Eagle Mountain Plant Road. The driver, identified as Jerry Helm, was trapped in the wreckage after he crashed into a power pole.
He was pried loose and rushed to Medical City Alliance where he was pronounced dead. Police have not determined why he lost control of his vehicle.
