A Tarrant County judge has sentenced a Fort Worth man to 60 years in prison for the March 2021 murder of a rival gang member.

Court records show that 33-year-old Jonathan Howard was found guilty and sentenced by the court to 60 years in prison for engaging in organized crime and murder.

Prosecutors say Howard, a documented 5x2 Crip street gang member, stalked 25-year-old Quiton Murray from an Arlington nightclub to an area off Randol Mill Road near I-30 and shot him while he sat in his car.

Howard was convicted by a jury but decided to have the judge impose the sentence.
