Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price is now back to work at City Hall after missing some time while recovering from a bout with the Coronavirus.
Yesterday, Price made a brief public statement to express her appreciation for "everybody's thoughts and prayers."
Price fell ill on November 15th, got tested and it was confirmed she had the virus. So, she and her husband, who also tested positive, quarantined at home.
Price says she felt pretty bad at first but was treated with Eli Lilly's drug called Bamlanivimab which is designed to boost the body's own immune response.
She says the change was remarkable and she started feeling better within hours.
