FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price has tested positive for COVID-19.
The mayor made the announcement in a statement this afternoon, hours after she tweeted that her husband, Tom, had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Price says both she and her husband are experiencing mild symptoms and are in close contact with their doctors.
Earlier Wednesday, Price announced that she would be working from home for at least the rest of the week after her husband tested positive.
With the holidays approaching, Price is urging everyone to remain vigilant, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
