The Grand Prairie Police Department arrested a Fort Worth police officer Sunday evening.
They arrested Officer Willie Nash and charged him with Driving While Intoxicated.
The Fort Worth Police Department placed him on restricted duty and stripped him of all police powers while criminal and administrative investigations were underway. Officer Nash has been with the department for 18 years and was assigned to the Patrol Bureau.
Fort Worth Police say they hold their officers to a high standard both on and off duty.
