Gunfire may have rung out during a New Year's party in Fort Worth overnight.
Police got a 9-1-1 call about a shooting victim near 35-W and Risinger, so they showed up along with Fort Worth Fire and Medstar. One guy had been shot in the shoulder and is now in the hospital. He and a witness told police they were at a block party about a couple miles away when someone started shooting.
Police went to the neighborhood in Far South Fort Worth, but they could not find a crime scene or any witnesses.
The "Gun Violence Unit" is trying to find a suspect. No arrests have been made.
