Fort Worth police make arrests related to drive-by that killed two

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- Fort Worth police have arrested two people in connection to the August 28th drive-by shooting that led to the deaths of a 5-year-old and a 17-year-old.

Over the weekend homicide detectives, patrol officers, the department's fugitive task force and members of the United States Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force arrested 21-year-old Anthony Ray Bell-Johnson, as well as a 16-year-old. They are both arrested on capital murder charges in the deaths of Rayshard Scott and Jamarrien Monroe.

The victims were with a group of people standing outside a home on Steel Dust Drive when people inside a car opened fire, then sped away. An 18-month-old was injured in the shooting as well but survived his injuries. No word on a motive for the shooting.
