Fort Worth police are working to find the person who stole someone's truck at knife-point after they agreed to give him a ride.
Police say the suspect was at a QT along Airport Freeway when he offered to pay the victim $50 for a ride. When they got to the suspect's destination, the suspect said he didn't have the money and refused to get out of the vehicle.
That's when he pointed a knife at the victim before taking his keys along with his wallet, phone and the truck.
Now police are working to find the truck and the suspect. He's driving a White, 2008 Chevy Silverado with a chrome toolbox in the bed.
Police say the suspect is described as a tall, white man with dirty blonde hair - at the time all this happened a couple of weeks ago he was wearing black jeans, a black shirt, black hoodie and was carrying a black backpack and red blanket. Police say he appears to be homeless.
Police are asking that you please contact Detective A. Olson at 817-392-4377 if you have any information.
