Fort Worth police are looking for a man who went on a violent crime spree, including trying to kidnap a woman and her young daughter.
Police say it started around noon Tuesday, when he attempted to rob a business on Mansfield Highway, and fired a shot at an employee before carjacking a man and his son at gunpoint.
Police say shortly after he stole the car he wrecked it. That's when he kidnapped a woman and her 2-year-old daughter who were in another car along Wichita Street.
That woman was able to escape with her child, and was not hurt.
Police are hoping someone recognizes the man and reaches out.
