FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth police officer was arrested this morning.
The department says Det. Tanner Martin was arrested on suspicion of DWI by Benbrook Police.
Det. Martin, who was off duty at the time of the incident, has been on the force for seven years and is assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit.
The department immediately launched an Internal Affairs investigation, placed Martin on restricted duty and stripped him of all of his police powers.
