A Fort Worth police officer was arrested over the holiday weekend for driving while intoxicated.
Officials with the Fort Worth Police Department say Officer Eduardo Gasca was arrested Saturday while off-duty in the town of Venus.
Gasca is a 10 year veteran of the Fort Worth Police Department and is assigned to the Patrol Bureau.
Since his arrest, Gasca has been placed on restricted duty and has been stripped of all of his police powers.
