UPDATE: 9:45 a.m.
Fort Worth Police say 15-year-old Chanel Williams has returned home safely after her disappearance Monday afternoon. They say no one had seen her since 4 p.m. Monday.
Police say the girl was with another girl outside Fort Worth Polytechnic High School near Rosedale and Beach. They have not said how the two might know each other, but police put out a notice they were looking for the two Tuesday morning.
The initial call came as a kidnapping just after midnight at a home a couple miles from the school, and police were worried she may be in danger. Tuesday morning, they said the girl had not been kidnapped and had returned home safely.
Police have not said what may have happened or if anyone was arrested.
