With the 2021 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo already canceled, the city is now putting a dollar figure on the impact.

Fort Worth City Hall estimates a potential $110 million hit for the city and private businesses. The estimate is based on a 2017 study of the event's economic impact on Fort Worth.

Last month, the Stock Show Executive Committee agreed to cancel the event because of fears it would become a Coronavirus super-spreader event.

The Stock Show regularly draws well over a million people to Fort Worth over its 23-day run
