If you're planning on buying tickets to the Fort Worth Zoo online, make sure you're only doing so on the zoo's official website.
The zoo says ads circulating on social media advertising deeply discounted tickets are bogus.
The only good website where you can purchase zoo tickets is the zoo's official website, fortworthzoo.com.
After the $1 online discount, tickets are $19 for adults and $15 for kids 3-12 and seniors 65 and up. Half Price Wednesdays are $10 and $8, respectively, with no online discount.
The Fort Worth Zoo says other zoos and aquariums across the country have been targeted with similar scams.
