Foundation working to bring high-speed internet access to more Dallas families

A non-profit is working with several colleges in the Dallas area to bring high-speed internet access to more families.

Drexell Owusu with the Dallas Foundation says those institutions can extend networks into the surrounding neighborhoods, and provide internet access for their students.

He's working with local schools to apply for a federal grant that's designed to bring internet access to more minority students.
