Four men are in a Fort Worth hospital, all recovering from suspected drug overdoses.

Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday Fort Worth police and paramedics were called to a half-way house on Avenue J near Highway 287 and Rosedale. The 9-1-1 caller said the four men had passed out.

Paramedics arrived and immediately worked on the men while they were rushed to the emergency room at JPS hospital.

Officials say they were all reported to be in stable condition as of this morning. It's not clear what substances were used that caused the men to need medical attention.

The Fort Worth police Narcotics Unit is part of the investigation into what type of substance was ingested and how the men got illegal drugs into a half-way house.
