FRISCO (1080 KRLD)- A Frisco home is heavily damaged from a fire that broke out Wednesday evening about 9 p.m.
Fire crews were sent to a home on the far north side of town on San Gabriel Avenue near Eldorado Parkway. They found the fire was already going strong. Flames were jetting from the roof and it took a team effort to get the fire contained.
The home has great damage from flame, smoke and water -- but the good news is both people inside got out safely.
Investigators think the fire spread from the fireplace into the attic which, in turn, ignited the roof. The damages are estimated at about $900,000.
