Frisco Independent School District officials say counselors will be available this week when classes resume after 16-year-old Elizabeth Angle died Sunday in a sledding accident and a second teen remains in critical condition.

The girls were riding on a sled being towed by a 16-year-old boy’s Jeep Wrangler in a Frisco neighborhood when the sled hit a curb and crashed into a tree.

Frisco police and the Denton County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash and whether charges will be filed.
