FRISCO (1080 KRLD)- A Frisco man is going to prison for decades over a string of aggravated robberies dating back more than two years.
Allieu Bayoh has been sentenced to 35 years in a McKinney courtroom. In November of 2021, a Frisco Verizon store was robbed at gunpoint -- by a fellow employee who got away in a co-worker's stolen car.
The next day, 40 miles away in Arlington, the car was pulled over and police found Bayoh inside. Arlington police say he resisted arrest but was eventually subdued and jailed.
But 100 days later, Bayoh made bail and was released. Two months later, the same Frisco Verizon store was robbed again -- and an employee picked Bayoh out of a photo line-up. Now, with a warrant already issued in Bayoh's name, there was yet another armed stick-up -- this time at a Frisco AT&T store.
Detectives tracked him down and arrested him. They found not only stolen electronics but a pistol likely used in the robberies. With all that evidence stacked up against him, Bayoh pleaded guilty.
