Frisco police investigate violent home invasion

Two people are in the hospital after being beaten during a violent Frisco home invasion.

Police say the crime happened early Tuesday morning at a home on Grandview Drive. One of the victims told police the suspects forced their way into the home, assaulted several people inside, tied up the victims then stole a large amount of cash.

Frisco Fire & Rescue responded to the scene to treat the victims, of which two were transported to a local hospital due to their injuries.

Police are saying there is no "immediate threat" to the public and are insisting it appears this was an isolated incident.

So far there have been no arrests.
