Baseball teams from Frisco Reedy and Argyle high schools are in today's semi-finals of the Texas UIL baseball tournament.
Things are coming down to the wire for these teams who started playing in February. Reedy and Argyle are both in Class 5A.
Led by Coach Mickey Sepanek, the Reedy Lions meet Magnolia West in one 5A semi-final this afternoon at 5pm while coach Ricky Griffin's Argyle Eagles meet Boerne in the other semi-final tonight at 7pm. Both games are played at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
Also today are the Championship games in 1A and 2A at Dell Diamond and the 4A championship at the Longhorns home park, UFCU Disch Falk, in Austin.
Friday are the semi-finals in Class 3A and 6A and then the 3A, 5A and 6A championships are Saturday, all at Dell Diamond.
