Funeral services have been set for the man behind a half-dozen well known and well loved Dallas restaurants and bars.
Joe Tillotson was being treated for prostate cancer and died last week at the age of 53.
Tillotson may be best-known for starting the Katy Trail Ice House with business partner Buddy Cramer ten years ago. But he also had a hand in other popular spots like Redfield's Tavern and Barley House.
A funeral mass will be held at noon on Saturday at Saint Monica Catholic Church in Dallas.
