Five Camp Mystic campers and a counselor are among those still missing in the catastrophic flooding in Central Texas. The overall death toll is now up to 108.
Lieutenant Colonel Ben Baker with Texas Game Wardens says they have over 300 Game Wardens currently working in the search and rescue effort.
"Among that, we have searched 26 river miles since the tragic event started," Baker said. "We have had approximately 444 rescues, 30 recoveries."
He says they also have two helicopter crews working as well as 12 drone teams. A handful of K-9 units are also involved in the effort.
Meanwhile, donations are pouring into the City of Kerrville at such a level that city leaders are having to reorganize how they will take donations.
Mayor Joe Herring Jr. says the generosity has been tremendous in the aftermath of the flooding and once they come up with a new system they will let the world know.
"We will post them online on the city's Facebook page," Herring said Tuesday. "We are grateful. We need a new system to handle the generosity of the world."
