Garland Police say three people kidnapped a baby boy over the weekend. The baby is safe and now the search is on for the people responsible.
Police say this all started Sunday when someone knocked on the mother's motel room door, rushed in the room, and took the baby.

The mother chased after them and was able to get the front license plate from the kidnappers' car before they drove off.
Police say surveillance video showed three women in a black SUV.
A short time later, police pulled a woman over in Dallas and saw the woman had been driving an 11-year-old and the kidnapped baby.
The baby was returned to his mom, and 34-year-old Lashonda Price of Seagoville was placed under arrest.
Police are now looking for the two other suspects. Detectives have identified one of them as 28-year-old Romeisha Brown, but have not identified the other.
Police say they do believe the suspects knew the victim.
