A stretch of Malloy Bridge Road in southeast Dallas County is closed while crews repair a massive sinkhole that opened up this morning.
The Sheriff's office reports getting calls saying "...a large portion of the roadway..." was missing about a mile-and-a-half east of I-45.
Deputies estimate the chunk of missing pavement is at least ten feet long and it appears to be about five feet wide.
It has created a sinkhole about 30 feet deep so deputies have closed that part of Malloy Bridge Road between Parkinson and Cook Road. It'll stay closed until crews can patch it up.
