Fort Worth barbecue just reached a new level of bragging rights.
Goldee’s Barbecue has earned one Michelin star, becoming the first restaurant in Fort Worth to receive the prestigious honor.
For co-owner Jalen Hurd and his four business partners, it’s another big win for the barbecue joint they built after growing up together and moving back home from Austin.
Goldee’s earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction in 2024. Now, the restaurant is taking home an even bigger honor — and giving barbecue fans another reason to make the trip.
Hungry customers also have a little more time to get their fix. Goldee’s has expanded its hours, adding Thursdays to its usual Friday-through-Sunday schedule.
