Fort Worth police are still looking for the gunman who wounded a man who was reportedly helping the driver of a stranded car Thursday.

Reports say the car was stopped on Ederville Road near Cooks Lane and I-30.

While the unidentified victim was assisting the stopped driver, a car passed and someone shot the Good Samaritan. They were taken to the hospital in a personal car and reported to be in stable condition.

Police went back to the shooting scene to look for evidence. Police believe they know who did it but no one's been arrested, so far.
