Texas Governor Abbott orders U.S. flags to be flown at full staff on Inauguration Day on Jan 20th, rejecting Biden’s directive to lower them in honor of Jimmy Carter.

This comes after President Joe Biden ordered flags to be flown at half-staff across the United States in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away at the age of 100.

This tribute will last for 30 days, reflecting the nation's mourning and respect for Carter's legacy.

But in doing so, the nation's flags would be a half staff on Inauguration Day, something President-Elect Donald Trump has not liked.
