Texas Governor Greg Abbott held a press conference Monday morning as he prepares state agencies for the end of Title 42 this week.
In a social media post, Governor Abbott wrote, "While President Biden deploys troops to do paperwork, Texas is ramping up our historic efforts to protect our state and our nation."
Abbott defended his migrant bussing program on a Fox News program recently saying, “The fact of the matter is that there are more people coming across the border every single day than there are migrants who are in Chicago or New York,” said Governor Abbott. “This is not a Texas problem; this is a United States problem. It’s the responsibility of New York or Chicago or the entire country to deal with the problem caused by Joe Biden and his open border policies.”
