Granbury lawyer Kellye SoRelle was arrested and charged in the January 6th US Capitol riot case in Washington D.C.

Officials say SoRelle is up on four charges including conspiracy, obstruction, tampering with documents and misdemeanor trespassing.

Earlier this year, SoRelle told multiple news outlets she was an attorney for and became acting president of the right-wing Oath Keepers organization after that group's leader Elmer Rhodes, also of Granbury, was arrested.

On Thursday, SoRelle made a court appearance before a federal judge in Austin where she was told she was eligible for court-appointed attorney and released on her own recognizance.
