A Dallas County grand jury has indicted a man accused of murdering a teenager who was working at a Dallas fast food restaurant.

The shooting took place on February 10 at a Church's Chicken in the 4600 block of Scyene Road in southern Dallas.

Jeremy Grant, 23, is accused of fatally shooting 17-year-old employee Marcos Villanueva inside the restaurant. Police said Grant fled on foot and Villanueva was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives looked at surveillance video and found that Grant had been in the same restaurant about a week earlier. They said other video from cameras in the area showed a man wearing the same clothing and a witness picked Grant out of a lineup.

He is being held on $1.2 million bond.
