A Grand Prairie man is going to prison for a long time on a conviction for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
Prosecutors say a 12-year-old girl reported that Jonathan Garcia had been sexually abusing her since she was seven. The Ellis County District Attorney's office says the acts took place in three counties and four cities including Midlothian.
Court records showed she told investigators that he would start abusing a younger sibling unless she allowed him to continue to sexually abuse her.
Garcia has been sentenced to 43 years with no possibility of parole.
