Police in Grand Prairie are searching for a man suspected of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.
Officers were called to an apartment complex on Pioneer Parkway Wednesday afternoon and found the body of a woman with stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She's been identified as 25-year-old Idalis Carrero-Magobet.
Investigators say she had been at the residence with 32-year-old Ricardo Nevarez-Suarez and that the two had previously been in a dating relationship.
Nevarez-Suarez is being sought by the Grand Prairie Police Department for murder.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to his arrest. Police are asking anyone with information about his location to call the Grand Prairie Crimes Stoppers Hotline at 972-988-TIPS (8477).
