With our day starting out in single digits and our high only climbing into the 20s, the Grand Prairie's "Prairie Lights" Christmas experience is closed again Friday because of what organizers call "extreme weather conditions."

The drive-through light park was also closed Thursday as the mercury plunged into the teens.

The Prairie Lights Website says "general Admission tickets are valid every night through New Year’s Eve."

Also canceled because of the cold -- Thursday night's "Enchant Dallas", a similar event at Dallas Fair Park. However, Enchant Dallas will re-open tonight.

The Dallas Zoo was also closed Thursday including last night's Dallas Zoo Lights. The zoo and the zoo lights event are also closed Friday.

Also, the Fort Worth Zoo is closed Friday but it will re-open Saturday at 10 a.m.
