A woman who recently moved to North Texas has been identified as the victim killed in a Grapevine crash late Wednesday during some of the heaviest rain.
Police reports say it was just before midnight when there was a dangerous mix of heavy rain, mist, and fog in Grapevine.
A driver was involved in a wreck on northbound Highway 360 near DFW Airport. Police found the driver trapped in the wreckage. Police say Tiyanna Taylor was rushed to Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine where she was pronounced dead about 45 minutes after the crash.
Grapevine police say they believe weather was a contributing factor in the accident.
On social media, friends say Taylor had just relocated to North Texas from Oklahoma City.
