Several fire crews have been battling multiple grass fires, mainly in rural areas of Parker and Wise counties, including areas near Azle and Boyd.
Burn bans are in effect for Tarrant, Parker and Wise counties. Tarrant County Fire Marshal Randy Renois says these grass fires may not necessarily be human-caused.
"We get tree branches in the power lines, power lines hit the ground - we have a grass fire," Renois said.
Renois says the fire danger will likely not let up tomorrow. So far at least 100 acres have burned in Wise County.
