A Fort Worth killer is going to prison for 15 years in a plea deal that ended his trial yesterday.
Reports say the jury deciding Damorian Allen's fate was already deliberating when his lawyers agreed to have Allen plead guilty of murder in return for the 15 year sentence.
In 2019, a man named Tony Austin was killed in a wild gang shootout in the parking lot of an east Fort Worth business on East Berry. Two years ago, another man was sentenced to 14 years for his part in the gun-battle.
